Opportunity International UK is a member of the global Opportunity International Network, a pioneer and global leader in providing microfinance and training to the working poor. Our vision is a world in which all people have the opportunity to provide for their families and build a fulfilling life.

Opportunity Today
Opportunity provides financial services (loans, savings) and business training to over 1.9 million people (84% women) in 24 developing countries. In addition, Opportunity International also provides innovative micro insurance policies to over 1 million people.
Opportunity UK both raises and invests funds to help establish and strengthen partner microfinance organisations, advocating for the poor and increasing awareness of microfinance. Opportunity International UK was established by Opportunity International founder David Bussau in 1992. Opportunity International Scotland opened in Edinburgh in 2008.
