As Senior Resource Development Manager at Opportunity International UK, I work closely with our in-country partners to design multi-year projects and develop funding proposals for institutional donors. It has been a privilege over the years to see these plans become tangible programmes that make a difference to the lives of hard-working families across sub–Saharan Africa.  

I’ve seen first-hand how access to business skills, agricultural knowledge, mentoring and affordable financial services can help build sustainable livelihoods, and strengthen communities. I’m particularly passionate about developing programmes that reach people who are often left behind, including rural women, smallholder farmers, young people, refugees, and people with disabilities.

When I am not working, I love reading, hiking with my labradoodle, swimming in the ocean, and kayaking.
