Tabitha Eccles

I am Head of the Endowment Office at Nuffield College, Oxford, where I oversee the College's investment portfolio and support the stewardship of its endowment. Nuffield is a graduate college of the University of Oxford that specialises in the social sciences.

Prior to joining Nuffield, I was a Principal at Ceniarth, an impact-first investment office focused on deploying capital to benefit underserved and vulnerable communities globally. My work spanned investments supporting financial inclusion, community development, sustainable livelihoods and other initiatives designed to deliver meaningful social impact alongside long-term financial sustainability.

Earlier in my career, I worked in investment banking at Investec, where I advised clients across a range of financial and strategic transactions. Throughout my career, I have been motivated by the potential for investment capital to serve a broader purpose, whether through endowment stewardship, impact investing, or supporting institutions that generate lasting social value. I am particularly interested in the role that educational and charitable institutions play in creating opportunity and strengthening communities.
