Viktoria Zwerschke brings extensive leadership and programme experience across the private and non-profit sectors, having begun her career in Germany’s insurance industry with ERGO before moving into humanitarian work with MEDAIR, where she worked on financial programmes in emergency response and later served as Managing Director of MEDAIR Germany. A business economist by training, she also spent five years at Medair International’s Swiss headquarters and now applies her expertise in organisational leadership and development cooperation at Opportunity International, helping to expand access to finance and opportunity for families and women in the Global South. Viktoria additionally serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Opportunity International Switzerland, supporting governance across the wider Opportunity network.
